KMG International will expand network in Romania by 9 filling stations till the end of 2015.

For the first 6 months of this year KMG International has increased by more than 10% the throughput of raw materials at its manufacturing assets – from 2.6 million tons in the period of January - June 2014 up to 2.9 million tons during the same period in 2015.

ASTANA, July 20 – IA News Kazakhstan. “The KMG International Group in July 2015 in Romania opened three new filling stations, and by the end of the year it is planned to increase the retail network by nine more filling stations”, - informed the Department of Communication and Public Relations of KMG International on Monday.

“Built filling stations are located in major cities in Romania – Bucharest, with a population of more than two million people, as well as Sibiu and Satu-Mare, the population of each exceeds 100 thousand people”, - a statement says.

Since the beginning of the program implementation in Romania more than 100 filling stations have been upgraded.

For the first 6 months of this year KMG International has increased the throughput of raw materials at its manufacturing assets by more than 10% (oil refinery “Petromidia”, “Vega”, as well as the petrochemical complex – the only company in Romania of such specialization) – from 2.6 million tons in the period of January - June 2014 to 2.9 million tons during the same period in 2015. Simultaneously, the group has improved its operating result (EBITDA) by 28% up to 81.9 million USD.

KMG International Group carries out retail activities in more than one thousand of its own fuel distribution points in the countries such as Romania, Georgia, Bulgaria, Moldova, Ukraine, France and Spain. In Romania, the company operates more than 750 fuel distribution points.

The sole shareholder of KMG International is a national oil and gas company of Kazakhstan “KazMunayGas”.
