The project is implemented in order to increase the resource base of KMG by carrying out geological and exploration works in the Torgai Paleozoic area in order to discover hydrocarbons during the exploration period under the Exploration and Production Contract No. 4958-УВС-МЭ dated 24.08.2021.
Area of the site - 5,679.95 km2.

The PZ-1 prospecting well with a depth of 5,500m is planned to be drilled between 2022 and 2024. Previously no wells of similar depth have been drilled in this region. The project will be implemented by a professional team of KMG specialists.

The decision on further implementation of the project will be made based on the results of geological exploration work.
