KMG receives a number of international awards for its 2024 annual report

The 2024 annual report of KazMunayGas NC JSC has been recognized with a number of prestigious international awards, confirming the high level of corporate disclosure and compliance with best international practices.

Specifically, KMG's report was awarded a silver prize in the “Best PDF Version of Annual Report” category among oil and gas companies in the Annual Report Competition (ARC Awards, USA). Founded in 1987, the ARC Awards is the largest and one of the most reputable international annual report competitions. It is worth noting that KMG became the only issuer from Kazakhstan to receive the award.

Moreover, KMG's annual report was awarded a bronze prize in the corporate and financial communications competition — Corporate & Financial Awards (CFA, UK) in the “Best Online Report – International” category. The Best Online Report – International nomination is considered one of the most competitive, as it involves all public companies whose shares are traded outside the UK, without division by capitalization or industry. The jury's evaluation focuses on the performance and innovation of digital reporting as a key communication channel with investors and other stakeholders. In this competition, KMG also became the only representative from Kazakhstan to receive a prize.

As part of the XXVIII annual competition of annual reports, Moscow Exchange included KMG's annual report in the shortlist in the “Best Annual Report of a New Issuer on the Capital Market over the Past Three Years (2022–2024)” and “Retail Investors' Choice” nominations.

In the 2024 rating of annual reports of commercial organizations prepared by the RAEX agency (Russia), KMG received the maximum rating of 5 stars, which indicates the highest quality of the document.

“The requirements for the quality of annual reporting and information disclosure for public companies are becoming more stringent every year. Stock exchanges and investors expect issuers to meet the highest standards of quality and transparency. In this context, KMG is guided by the best international practices of public companies when preparing its annual report, which has been highly praised by the professional expert community,” Diana Aryssova, Deputy Chair of KMG's Management Board, noted.

The awards received reflect the national company's systematic approach to preparing the annual report, the quality of information disclosures, and the development of communications with the investment community. The annual report is one of KMG's key communication tools, which makes it possible to holistically present its performance results, strategic priorities, and business development prospects.
