2016 Sustainability Report of NC KMG was approved

On June 29, 2017, the Board of Directors of JSC NC "KazMunaiGas" (hereinafter - "KMG") approved the 2016 Sustainability Report.  

KMG, as the largest oil and gas company and one of the largest employers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, is aware of its social, economic and environmental responsibility to its employees, consumers and the society as a whole. KMG annually publishes the Sustainability Report, which is a message of the KMG on its progress in the framework of the United Nations Global Compact. 

The 2016 Sustainability Report , reveals the indicators of economic, environmental and social performance, includes information on activities in the most significant aspects of sustainable development: safety and labor protection, environmental protection, investments in personnel, assistance in the development of regions where KMG operates; It contains a map of stakeholders and a materiality matrix of significant topics in the field of sustainable development for 2016. 

This Report has been prepared in accordance with Global Reporting Initiative Standards: Comprehensive option, and also successfully undergone GRI of Materiality Disclosure Service.
