Over 6,000 employees of the KMG Group vaccinated against COVID-19

Over 6,000 employees or some 10% of the total personnel of the KazMunayGas Group have been vaccinated against COVID-19. About 2,000 of them have already got two shots. The vaccination activities are part of the state mass vaccination campaign.

Vaccination points are arranged in the central offices of subsidiaries, dedicated points at fields and in medical centres at the places of residence. Employees may choose between Kazakhstan’s QazVac, Chinese Hayat-Vax or Russian Sputnik-V.

“Throughout the pandemic, the company have implemented all preventive activities and made its best efforts to ensure the epidemiological safety of employees. The mass vaccination campaign has started in April with all the conditions provided for vaccination. In addition, the employees, who have got two shots of the vaccine, have free access to the field without a PCR test,” noted Kairat Saktaganov, Director of Safety and Environment Department at JSC NC "KazMunayGas".
