KazGPP LLP has been operating the gas processing plant since 1973. There is currently a risk of a complete shutdown of the existing plant due to a high degree of wear (more than 90%) and excessive operation of the process equipment, which may result in a complete shutdown of oil and gas production facilities of the subsoil users that supply gas for processing, a shortage of commercial (dry) gas and LPG (liquefied petroleum gas).
The construction of a new gas processing plant to replace the existing one will provide the population and industrial enterprises of the Mangistau region with industrial and socially important gas products.
The main objectives of the project include:
   - Ensuring industrial and environmental safety, and compliance with the health, safety, and environmental standards.
   - Ensuring further stable operation of the oil-producing assets in the Mangistau region by utilizing the associated petroleum gas and natural gas they produce.
   - Highly efficient and profitable operation of the plant in the long term.

The new GPP plans to produce dry commercial gas, liquefied petroleum gas, and pentane-hexane fraction.
Raw materials are supplied to the GPP by Ozenmunaigas JSC, Mangistaumunaigas JSC, Tenge Oil & Gas LLP, and Tasbulat Oil Corporation LLP.
