As part of the KMG strategy, a number of marine projects are implemented jointly with foreign strategic partners on the terms of exploration period financing at the expense of the Partner.

Geological exploration works are being carried out in the Abay, Zhenis, and Al-Farabi projects.
In December 2022, drilling of the first exploration well began at the Zhenis field.
