From the speech of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Tokayev K.K. at the Forum of support of domestic entrepreneurs Samruk Business Forum on February 11, 2021:There are three main principles of the denationalization policy:
First, privatization should exclude the emergence of private monopolists. Unfortunately, we have facts of inefficient privatization of key infrastructure facilities. Such facts of irrational privatization, which harm the economic interests of the state, should not be allowed again. This is the responsibility of the Government and the Fund.
Second - the sale of assets into private hands should help reduce the burden on the budget.
Third, privatization should have a concrete economic impact. The meaning of the privatization of any enterprise is to increase its efficiency, increase its contribution to the national economy.

This is the way that the investment culture of the population is formed. Participation in the IPO should become available absolutely to all residents of Kazakhstan. For this purpose we need new digital solutions that eliminate paperwork and bureaucracy».
