Ecomaster, company member of The Rompetrol Group, is continuing this year its development plan for the industrial waste storage and treatment park Ecopark, the investment value reaching approximately 2 million USD. Ecopark is situated nearby Ploiesti, in  Arciestii Rahtivani.

K. Kabyldin, Chairman of the Board of JSC NC “KazMunayGas” participated in the Formal Event dedicated to the 20th Anniversary of the Tengiz Oil
On April 20, c. y. in Atyrau there was a solemn meeting dedicated to the 20th Anniversary of the Tengiz Oil. As is well-known, on April 6, 1991 an oil and gas complex – Tengiz oil and gas refining plant was founded. It marked the beginning of commercial production at this field. Within the framework of the formal events it is scheduled to hold a meeting of the Partnership Council, visiting of a number of production facilities and the Tengiz field.

Closing of acquisition of a 50% stake in Ural Group Limited
Astana, 19 April 2011. JSC KazMunaiGas Exploration Production (“KMG EP” or the “Company”) announces the closing of the transaction to acquire a 50% stake in Ural Group Limited (UGL) from Exploration Venture Limited (EVL). UGL owns the exploration license for the block Fedorovskiy through 100% stake in LLP “Ural Oil and Gas” (UOG).

KMG EP announces operating results for the 1Q11
Astana, April 8, 2011. JSC KazMunaiGas Exploration Production (KMG EP or the Company), announces that according to preliminary data in the first three months of 2011 it produced 3,172 thousand tonnes of crude oil (259 kbopd) including the Company’s stakes in Kazgermunai (KGM), CCEL, PetroKazakhstan Inc. (PKI) and NBK LLP (NBK), which is 11 thousand tonnes or 0,3% less than in 2010.

First Graduation of Students of the Youth School of Oil and Gas
On March 4, c. y. there was a graduation of the first students of the Youth School of Oil and Gas, arranged by JSC NC “KazMunayGas” and KAZENERGY Association at the initiative of the Business Council of Youth in Astana.     26 students from ENU, KazATU, KazGYU and students of Professional Lyceum 6 received certificates of successful completion of the Youth School of Oil and Gas.
