National Company “KazMunayGas” announces Rompetrol Rafinare, company member of The Rompetrol Group (a subsidiary of JSC NC “KazMunayGas”) started the last phase of its program for the Petromidia Refinery capacity increase to 5 million tons. The value of the investments made to this extent amounts so far up to 234 million USD, the total value being estimated at 377 million USD.

The value of the investments made to this extent amount so far up to 234 million USD, the total value being estimated at over 377 million USD.

KMG EP announces operating results for the 1H11
Astana, July 7, 2011. JSC KazMunaiGas Exploration Production (KMG EP or the Company), announces that according to preliminary data in the first six months of 2011 it produced 6,311 thousand tonnes of crude oil (258 kbopd) including the Company’s stakes in Kazgermunai (KGM), CCEL, PetroKazakhstan Inc. (PKI) and NBK LLP (NBK), which is 216 thousand tonnes or 3% less than in the same period of 2010.

Dance Group “Tumar” became the winner of the International Festival-contest of Choreographic Art “The Parisian Rhythms” in Paris
June 11-22 of the c. y. with the sponsor support of National Company “KazMunayGas” the choreographic group “Tumar” participated in the International festival-contest of choreographic art “The Parisian Rhythms”. The event has been organized by the Festival Committee of Spain Fiestalonia Milenio together with the town hall and the Youth Administration of Aubervilliers (Paris). In the nomination of “The Folk Dance” the dance group “Tumar” has performed the Kazakh dances “Mereke”, “Dostyk”, “Omir Zholy” and Khoresm dance. As a result, the collective has become the 1st prize winner.
