The National Company “KazMunayGas” conducted a meeting related the Kazakh content growth in the group of companies of “KazMunayGas”.
On the 21st September of the current year JSC NC “KazMunayGas” (further-NC “KMG”) conducted a meeting in Astana with the participation of  National Welfare Fund “Samruk-Kazyna” JSC, “KazMunayGas” Exploration Production” JSC, “KazTransOil” JSC, “KazTransGas” JSC, Atyrau refinery LLP, “PSA” LLP, NCOC, Karachaganak Petroleum Operating BV, “Tengizchevroil” LLP, the Union of Kazakhstan's Mechanicians and Domestic Producers related to the Kazakh content growth in the group of companies of “KazMunayGas”.

The Board of Directors of KMG EP has approved a common share buy back programme.
JSC KazMunaiGas Exploration Production (“the Company” or “KMG EP“) announces that the Board of Directors of KMG EP has approved a share buyback programme. Under the programme the Company has an option to purchase its common shares (KASE:RDGZ KZ) listed on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (“KASE”) and GDRs (LSE:KMG LI) listed on the London Stock Exchange (“LSE”) up to the aggregate amount of US$300 million. The programme will start in the near future and will take up to the end of 2012 to execute. Beginning of the buyback programme will be announced separately. The shares and GDRs will be acquired at the prevailing market price as at the time of the purchase.

Today, Spartakiad (sport events) among the employees of the group of companies of “KazMunayGas” dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan was finished.
On the 17th September of the following year Spartakiad among the employees of the group of companies of “KazMunayGas” dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan was finished.

From 14 to 17 September of the following year within the framework of realization of the President's Letter as the part of grass-root sports movement development, Spartakiad is being conducted among the employees of the group of companies of “KazMunayGas” in the sports centre of JSC NC "KazMunayGas" dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Through its corporate responsibility program “Together for each and everyone”, The Rompetrol Group sustained the solar panels endowment of the kindergarten inside the SOS Children’s Village Bucharest . The total amount of the financial support offered by the company was 12,000 Euro.

Prior to the Oil and Gas Industry Workers Day the events were conducted dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the field Dossor and the 20th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the city of Atyrau and the township Dossor of the Atyrau region.

Noble Energy, Delek, Ratio Start Drilling Dolphin 1
The Sedco Express rig on Monday began initial exploratory drilling of Dolphin 1 Exploratory Prospect, located in the Hanna license, near Leviathan. Dolphin 1 drilling will take place 100 km west of Haifa, and the purpose of the drilling is to discern if there is natural gas in Dolphin 1. Netherland, Sewell & Associates, Inc. (NSAI) best estimate of the gross natural gas reserves at Dolphin 1 is 550.5 billion cubic feet (BCF), with a geologic probability of success of 73 percent.

The Standard & Poor’s corporate governance rating service has said it confirmed and subsequently withdrew its Governance, Accountability, Management Metrics, and Analysis (GAMMA) score assigned to JSC “National Company “KazMunayGas” (KMG NC) at ‘GAMMA 4+’, according to a 1 to 10 scale with 1 being the lowest and 10 the highest.

KMG EP completes acquisition of four contracts for exploration of hydrocarbons
Astana, 24 August 2011. JSC KazMunaiGas Exploration Production (‘KMG EP’, or ‘the Company’) announces the closing of the deal to acquire 100% of subsoil use rights under the four contracts for exploration of hydrocarbons in Kazakhstan at JSC National company KMG (NC KMG).
