Activity areas
Basic activity areas of KazMunayGas – refining and marketing JSC are as follows:
- sales of oil, oil and gas products;
- supply of fuel and lubricants for needs during sowing seasons and harvest campaigns;
- operations on behalf of the state with the oil, obtained as royalty;
- forwarding services and oil transportation services;
- protection of state interests in such important fields as export policy of Kazakhstan regarding trade of oil, oil and gas products;
- other services.
The Company occupies leading positions in Kazakhstan’s markets in the main spheres of its activity.
Company Projects
In terms of the upcoming entry of the RoK into the WTO the retail network of fuel stations of NC KazMunayGas JSC can become the main direct instrument of oil products market state regulation. To provide equal access to oil products for stable prices a network of about 500 fuel stations will be established in the whole territory of the RoK before 2010. The assumed market share should comprise 12%.
Within the fuel stations retail network Development Strategy of KazMunayGas – refining and marketing JSC a mobile laboratory of oil products quality control was put into operation. Besides, it is proposed to implement strategic management systems in the company, its subsidiary and related entities; to create a united information system of company administration (SAP); to obtain a certificate on integrated management system, including ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:1996 and OHSAS 18001:1999 international standards; to perform works on consolidation of an information technology platform to create Unique Information Flow and Resources Management System of KazMunayGas-refining and marketing JSC and its subsidiaries.
