Joint-stock company “KazTransOil” was established by the Government regulation of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 461 as of April 2, 1997.
The company transports crude oil for export, as well as to oil refineries in Kazakhstan, has a vast network of main pipelines, transports crude oil for export, as well as to oil refineries in Kazakhstan.
The actual volume of oil transported for 2010 is 65.825 ths. tons. The projected volume of oil transported for 2011 is 64.205 ths. tons

The structure of “KazTransOil” JSC consists of four branches:
- Western (Atyrau);
- East (Pavlodar);
- Multiple-Access Computer Centre (Astana);
- Scientific-Technical Center (Almaty).
“KazTransOil” JSC has the following main pipelines with total length of 5300 km:
- Uzen - Atyrau - Samara (up to the border with the Russian Federation (1 237.4 km)
- Kalamkas - Karazhanbas - Aktau
- Uzen - Zhetybay - Aktau
- Zhanazhol - Kenkiyak - Orsk
- Omsk - Pavlodar (from the border with the Russian Federation (214.7 km) to the GNPS “Pavlodar” (437.3 km)
- Pavlodar - Shymkent
- Shymkent - Chardzhou (up to the border of the Republic of Uzbekistan (294.5 km)
- Kumkol - Karakoin
- Kenkiyak-Atyrau (“NWPC “MunaiTas” JSC)
